Sam Waldron is the on-the-air persona of Richard Buck, a retired journalist and writer. He was a part-time radio DJ in high school and later at several radio stations during his college years.

Buck never forgot his love of radio and the music of his youth. In 2018, he was delighted to fulfill his long-term desire to create a music show featuring mid-century popular songs and some of the stories behind them.

Buck has lived in Seattle since 1998
